Fresno State’s 5% of bets carry 66% of DraftKings’ moneyline money

Boise State led spread betting, while a small share of moneyline tickets put most of the dollars on Fresno State.

Fresno State drew just 5% of moneyline bets but 66% of moneyline money in DraftKings’ evening report on its game against Boise State. The article listed Fresno at +205: a hypothetical $100 wager would earn $205 in profit if the Bulldogs won.

Boise State was the popular spread side in that same snapshot, taking 87% of the bets and 93% of the money at a quoted −6.5. The Broncos also attracted 95% of moneyline bets, yet those wagers accounted for only 34% of the money.

Using the rounded moneyline shares, the average Fresno State wager was roughly 37 times the average Boise State wager. Most moneyline tickets backed the Broncos, but the heavier stakes backed a Bulldogs upset in this DraftKings sample.
